Selection of candidates
Candidates are selected by a selection committee made up of between six and ten members, the majority of whom are specialists in the research field in question.
The selection committee will carry out an initial examination of the applications, particularly in the light of the research and teaching project submitted.
At the end of this examination, it draws up a list of candidates selected for a hearing. Only candidates whose applications have been shortlisted by the selection committee will be invited to the audition.
At the end of these hearings, the selection committee deliberates and makes a decision based on the merits of the candidates and their suitability for the research and teaching project open to recruitment.
The candidate selected at the end of the selection process may be offered a junior professorship contract, after consultation with the relevant bodies.
