Recruitment outside competitive examinations
Decree n°2016-580 of May 11, 2016 relating to the organization of the careers of category C civil servants in the State civil service and article 51 of decree n°85-1534 of December 31, 1985 as amended relating to the statutory provisions applicable to the engineers and technical and administrative staff in research and training of the ministry responsible for higher education.

a) Application requirements:
Recruitment outside of competitive examinations is open to all persons meeting the general conditions for access to the civil service:
- possess French nationality, or nationality of a member state of the European Union or the European Economic Area;
- enjoy full civil rights;
- have no record in bulletin n°2 of the criminal record incompatible with the performance of duties;
- be in compliance with the French national service code;
- meet the physical fitness requirements for the position.
b) Registration:
The University of Burgundy does not open competitive examinations for every ITRF session.
You should refer to the special InfoBiatss published in March to determine whether a recruitment outside competitive examinations will be held.
Registrations are generally held in May.
If recruitment outside of competitive examinations is held, applications can be collected on site OR downloaded and returned to the following address:

Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered in return for a signed acknowledgement of receipt.
Applications sent after the deadline will not be considered.
c) Application file:
The application file includes:
- a cover letter of application,
- a detailed curriculum vitae, indicating the candidate’s initial and continuing education, previous professional experience and, if applicable, the work certificate(s) corresponding to the position(s) previously held, indicating the start and end dates of the contract and the nature of the position held (please attach contracts or work certificates),
- a request for a B2 extract from the criminal record (included in the file),
- a copy of both sides of a valid national identity card,
- proof of military service.
d) Selection procedures:
The President of the University constitutes a selection committee to examine applications. This committee is made up of at least three members appointed by the institution’s governing authority, at least one of whom must be from outside the institution.
After collecting the application files submitted before the above-mentioned deadline, the selection committee examines each candidate’s application file and selects candidates to be interviewed.
