Academic Council (CAC)

The Academic Council is a consultative body (formulating opinion or issuing recommendations) concerning :

• policy guidelines for academics, research, dissemination of scientific, technical and industrial knowledge, and scientific and technical documentation
• the qualification to be given to vacant or requested teaching-research and research posts (previously: CS competence)
• application for accreditation (new terminology) mentioned in article L.613-1 (formerly shared between CEVU – CA)
• the university contract
• all measures aimed at guaranteeing the exercise of students’ academic, trade union and political freedoms
• creation of university components (formerly: CS competence)
• proposes a multi-year master plan for disability policy to the Administrative Council. After consultation, this plan defines the objectives pursued by the establishment
