UBE awarded at the 10th EFS inter-organisation blood donation challenge

As part of the 10th Challenge Don de sang inter-organismes de l’Établissement Français du Sang, Université Bourgogne Europe was awarded in three categories for its strong mobilisation.

To mark the occasion, Alain HELLEU, the university’s Director General of Services, visited the Maison du Don de Dijon to receive the various awards. Among the 10 categories, the UBE stood out in the following three:

• Most new plasma donors (8 out of 129 donors mobilised)
• Most new blood donors (44 out of 129 donors mobilised)
• 3rd place in the challenge, with 127 donors

In total, 127 staff and members of the Université Bourgogne Europe team gave blood for a good cause.

Every year, the Établissement Français du Don organises blood drives throughout France: at the university, the next blood drive will take place on 15 April at the Salle Multiplex on the Dijon campus. Check whether you can give blood, then make an appointment for the next blood drive.
