Student Solidarity Commission

The purpose of this commission is to pool the strengths and skills of each stakeholder and each university department, in interaction with our partners, including CROUS BFC, but also associations and local authorities.

It operates in the following areas:

  • Emergency accommodation,
  • 1st necessity aid (food, personal hygiene products, clothing, everyday items…),
  • Management of financial aid envelopes and assistance in finding a student job,
  • Support for international students (inclusion and administrative assistance),
  • Learning support – revision – tutoring,
  • Digital assistance (loan of computers, training) and Internet network (4G keys),
  • Support and awareness of culture, sports and leisure.

Objectives

  • Create a student solidarity center at the heart of the University of Burgundy,
  • Involve student associations involved in solidarity in all actions,
  • Respond to emergencies,
  • Pool the strengths and skills of each stakeholder and department,
  • Interact with local partners, communities and associations
  • Pool possible funding sources and decide on the funding priorities for each project,
  • Create communication relays for the various working groups,
  • Optimize the assistance provided by effectively informing the public concerned,
  • Develop strong partnerships: press, media, networks, etc.,
  • Respond to needs with workgroups
