Second FORTHEM Annual Conference, “Connecting Worlds of Science and Society,”

From 29 to 31 January 2025, researchers, teachers and students at Master 2 level and above from the FORTHEM Alliance partner universities are invited to the second edition of the Alliance’s annual online conference dedicated to research.

This edition will highlight the importance of science in building a sustainable, inclusive and innovative future, and present the FORTHEM Alliance’s efforts to bring science and society closer together through research awareness initiatives.

Emanuella Bellan, Head of Unit at the European Commission and the Joint Research Centre (JRC), will be present at this second event. She will explain the JRC’s role in the European Commission’s decision-making on the impact of research on society.

For this new event, FORTHEM proposes to explore 12 sessions linked to the general themes of the FORTHEM Labs.
