Investment in maturation and intellectual property management

SAYENS takes charge of a result

STEP 1: Invention declaration: reception and preliminary analysis (IP, Market, Maturity)

STEP 2: Depending on the outcome of the preliminary analysis => Valorization contract (agreement of co-owners to entrust transfer to SAYENS)

STEP 3: Premature: IP registration, in-depth market study, etc.

STEP 4: If transferable as is => Transfer; If not, preparation of investment file, approval by Investment Committee

STEP 5: Launch of Maturation project

STEP 6: Transfer

Please note

SAYENS provides financing and support for projects in the pre-maturation and maturation phases (analysis and pre-maturation costs, patent filing fees, development costs, contract management, etc.). Its aim is to detect projects in the labs and develop them, leading to the transfer of innovation to the socio-economic world. In the event of success, financial returns are shared between SAYENS and the uB.
