Presenting Université Bourgogne Europe’s new governance team

On Friday 28 March, President Vincent Thomas and his governance team held a press conference to review the elections that took place at Université Bourgogne Europe in February and March.

This was an opportunity to introduce the two new vice-presidents who are joining the governance team: Amel NAFTI, vice-president responsible for the integration of component institutions, and Christel THAUVIN, vice-president responsible for cross-cutting issues.

President Vincent Thomas also spoke about the Stand up for Science event to be held on 03 April. The day will take the form of a round table discussion focusing on climate issues, with researchers from the UBE in attendance.

The university is part of an international initiative to defend academic freedom and research.
