The Maret University Residence (Student House)

When, in 1910, the University of Dijon became the owner of the premises of the former large seminary located on the Rue Docteur Maret, it was quickly envisaged that students would be housed there. However, it was not until 1924 that the Cité Universitaire was inaugurated in the heart of downtown Dijon. It included rooms (120 as of 1928), a restaurant, work rooms, a sports hall and even a tennis court. Today it counts 134 rooms, managed by the Crous.
