Jacques Roubaud (born in 1932)

A professor of mathematics, he taught at the Faculty of Science from 1967 to 1970. He became a member of OuLiPo and published poems, studies on ancient poetry and many novels. Although little known to the general public, he is considered an important figure in modern literature, to whom several theses and numerous articles have been devoted, in France and abroad. During the years from 2000 to 2010, he came back to the uB to talk to students about his work.
