1993: TUID tours Europe with Cymbeline

In 1993, to celebrate the opening of European borders, the Théâtre Universitaire International de Dijon (TUID) participated in the creation of a large visual, musical, theatrical and cross-border performance, based on the Shakespeare play Cymbeline, whose subject is centered on the idea of the European community.

For 110 students from Dijon, Besançon, Urbino, Iasi, Vilnius, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Liège, this event, emblematic of the free movement of ideas and people, was the occasion for a 10,000 km tour of performances across Europe.
