UBE welcomes 1,000 children to Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Day

Following the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, STAPS UFR of Université Bourgogne Europe is holding an Olympic and Paralympic Day at the Multiplex hall for primary and secondary school students.

The day is being organised at the Multiplex hall in coordination with the Inspectorate of Education, and to date almost 1,000 students representing 34 schools (20 classes of CM1 – 21 classes of CM2 – 3 classes of 6ème) are expected on the university campus on 8 April 2025. The Director of National Education Services, Mr Muller, and the Director of the UFR STAPS Dijon – Le Creusot will be present between 9.30am and 11am.

The programme for the day includes

  • physical, sporting and artistic activities for all (able-bodied, paraprofessionals and adapted)
  • interactive quizzes to test your knowledge of Olympism and Paralympism
  • inspiring encounters with top athletes
  • an Olympic village for associations to discover and exchange ideas

Children will take part in activities at 11 sites between 10am and 12pm, and again between 1pm and 3pm. Lunch will be served between 12 noon and 1 p.m. in the stands of the Colette Besson stadium.
