UBE at the Salon de l’Étudiant 2025
At the Salon de l’Étudiant 2025, held on January 25th, Université Bourgogne Europe (UBE) was present to inform future students and their families about the various higher education options it offers.
Two UBE stands gave visitors the opportunity to find out more about Université Bourgogne Europe: the first, a more general stand, was run by the Pôle Formation et Vie Universitaire (PFVU) and provided information on courses, study opportunities, student life and study arrangements; the second stand was devoted to UBE’s IUT.
In all, some 2,700 information sheets on courses were handed out, demonstrating the interest in the university.
Conferences to find out more about UBE
Visitors were also able to attend two conferences in which UBE took part:
Enseignement sup : mode d’emploi at 9.30am, with Muriel HENRY, Director of the Pôle Formation et Vie Universitaire.
Choosing my path at university at 2.00 pm, with Sandrine ROUSSEAUX, Vice-President for formation et à la vie universitaire (VP FVU), accompanied by representatives from the various departments: Luc IMHOFF, Dean of the Dijon UFR Sciences et Techniques, Françoise GOIRAND, Head of the Fundamental, Preclinical and Clinical Pharmacology UE, Mathilde BAS, Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry and Pharmacy and Yvon VOISIN, Director of the Auxerre UFR Sciences et Techniques branch.
A number of local political figures visited the UBE stand, including Françoise TENENBAUM, Vice-President of the Region in charge of health, Marie-Hélène JUILLIARD-RANDRIAN, Vice-President of Dijon Métropole SMEs Start-ups Research Technology Transfer, Didier PERRAULT, Regional Academic Director for Information and Orientation for the BFC academic region, and Sandrine ROUSSEAUX, VP FVU at UBE.
Dijon stands out in the rankings
In its annual rankings, L’Étudiant ranked Dijon 15th out of 47 cities overall and 4th in the ‘large city’ category. The city’s popularity was also confirmed by students, who gave it a 92.66% recommendation rating, giving it a score of 16/20 for education and 24/30 for student life.
At the end of his visit to the various stands at the exhibition, L’Etudiant awarded his prize to Sandrine Rousseaux, who was present on behalf of Université Bourgogne Europe. The trophy was awarded as part of the Student Town Ranking published by L’Etudiant for Dijon’s 4th place in the 2024 Student Town Ranking.
