32 members : 12 representatives of the university teaching and research staff, 6 representatives of the university student body, 6 representatives of the university administrative and support staff and 8 outside personalities.

Responsibilities:

The Administrative Council (CA) determines university policy. As such, it approves the content of the university’s contracts (training, research, student life, governance, etc.). It votes on the budget and approves the accounts, decides on the allocation of jobs on the proposal of the President, approves the agreements and conventions signed by the President and, subject to specific conditions, loans, equity investments, the creation of subsidiaries and foundations, the acceptance of gifts and bequests, property acquisitions and disposals, and adopts the rules governing examinations.

A subset of the Council formulates recommendations for the appointments and promotions of teacher-researchers. As a specific body, it exercises disciplinary authority over teaching-research staff and students. The elected members of the Council elect the university president.
